I KNOW - - - - IT'S BEEN A WHILE!

Well  I haven't been very good about posting on my blog.    As many of you know I have been very busy in the whirl wind of running the business end of

O'verlays.

 It has been going well I must say.

 Starting a business is a lot of work and when you get it right it is pretty rewarding in many ways!!

So back to work for me and I will not be gone for long.  My mind needs to get back to the creative colorful side every-so-often and I have lots of fun pillows I have been creating for the fall.  So I will give everyone a sneak peek of what will be in my Etsy shop soon.

This is better. I toned it down a bit - only trouble is that the pillows are regular fabric. They dont hold up to well outside. I would have to bring them in every night. What a drag!!

Well, the patio makeover will be held off for about a week. We are going to Colorado to watch my son Blake compete in the national skier cross competition. Should be fun. Love skiing out there!! (Yup.......That's him with the yellow bandana around his leg - I know I'm gloating, can't help it!)

So to get a better picture of what these fabrics will look like together, I put together a "mock" set up. Let's see how this goes!!

It's not too bad. Very summery, don't you think? I just might get a little blinded by all the bright colors when the sun is shining!!

This floral and Ikat work well together.  The colors are very fun and bright and summery.  It also has that orange in it to go with the orange table I showed in an earlier post.  Hummm....I dont know.  Any thoughts??????

 

Fabric Fabric Everywhere

I have been on a fabric and pillow craze. This patio has opened up a creative can of worms. There are lots of pictures to show you and decisions to make. PLEASE HELP!!

Check out this space. What a view!! This could work for me although I have no ocean view......just add a splash of aqua blue and wa-la...............
